WARRANTY & REPLACEMENT MANAGEMENT

Introduction

Warranty & Replacement module is vertical business solution for Tally.ERP9, which is useful for track sales & purchase warranty & replacement information.

Warranty Setup Guide

1.    Configure WarrantyModule.tcp.

Go to Gateway of Tally à F12: Configuration à Product & Features

Press F4 (Manage Local TDLs)

Set Yes to Load TDLs on startup

Type WarrantyModule.tcp in List of TDLs to preload…..

Enter accept & save the form.

2.    Feature (F11) Configure.

Go to Gateway of Tally à F11: Features à Inventory Features

Enable Allow zero valued entries.

Enable Warranty Module

Master Setup Guide

1.    Voucher type creation & setup

Create new voucher type for replacement purpose

 

 

 

2.    Inventory Creation

Create stock item with batch enabled.

 

         Create Godowns for tracking stock of faulty / rejected need to be replaced.

Entry Systems :-

1.       Booking of purchase with warranty from vendor.

Warranty will be calculated auto based on purchase date, user can change Warranty Upto.

* User can import multiple purchase serial numbers from excel file through import option on right side.

Booking of Sales with warranty to Customer.

Warranty will be calculated auto based on sales date, user can change Warranty Upto.

2.       Replacement Entry.

Replacement Out entry is useful for replacement to customer.

i.                     Replacement Out entry have option for only issuing stock for replacement purpose or in single entry faulty item can be received and replaced same against warranty, you can select replacement type as Faulty Issue or Replacement.

ii.                   If we are supposed to replace against faulty in same entry, we can select serial no for faulty received, against which we are providing replacement, at replacement of new stock warranty date will remain same at actual.

iii.                 It will also show validity of receiving faulty on entry level with information of expiry date and valid / expired.

iv.                 Print acknowledgement of replacement.

3.       Return/ Replacement to Vendor.

Faulty stocks Return & getting replacement from vendor entry system.

i.                     Here we can return faulty stocks to vendor, if it is under warranty of purchase.

ii.                   This module also provides pending stock reports, where we can get information of rejected stock with us or rejected issued/ returned to vendor and still has to come from vendor against the same.

iii.                 When vendor returned against our replacement back, we need to pass replacement entry.

4.       Notifications on Entries.

At the time of replacement it will show you validity of stock is available or expired, so that user can check properly before replacing.

At the time of sale or replacement, if user select new stock instead of old stock, Tally notify them for FIFO method.

WARRANTY & REPLACEMENT REPORTS :-

1.       Reports Menu.

 

2.       Batch / Serial No stock report modify with warranty information. 

 

3.       Single Serial wise warranty & replacement report for sales & purchase. 

 

4.       All Serials warranty & replacement report for sales & purchase. 

 

     * Notes : This report also give you filter option from right side button toolbar, i.e. Party-wise, Model-wise, Serial-wise.

5.       Pending Stocks of rejected/ faulty with us or vendor for replacement purpose.
